What is a personalized pet memorial song?

Can I make one for my cat, or a pet other than a dog?
Yes. Tell us what kind of pet they were, their name and the words you use for them. A cat's sunny chair, a horse's favourite trail or a bird's morning chatter can be the starting point. These are custom songs, so you do not have to fit your memories into a dog-song template.
What should I write if I don't know where to start?
Start with their name and one thing they always did. Add how they joined your family, a place you went together or a habit that made you laugh. Plain notes are enough. You can leave out their final days and ask for a song about the years you had together.
Is a song a thoughtful gift for someone who lost a pet?
