Who controls your information

Songilingy is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at support@songilingy.com.

What we collect

When you use Songilingy, we may collect account details such as your email address, song prompts and song preferences, uploaded media, generated song records, purchase and billing metadata, and messages you send through the contact form.

We also use browser storage and authentication cookies to keep you signed in, remember settings, and preserve parts of your in-app experience.

With the privacy permission that applies in your region, we may collect pseudonymous traffic analytics such as visited pages, referral source or campaign tags, a randomly generated browser identifier, and rough country information supplied by our hosting provider. We do not use this feature to store full payment card details.

How we use information

• To create, store, and deliver generated songs and related assets.
• To manage accounts, sign-in sessions, billing, and purchased credits or unlocks.
• To respond to support questions and service requests.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• To understand traffic trends and measure which channels are bringing visitors to the site.
• With advertising permission, to measure and optimize advertising campaigns.

We process account, song-creation, delivery, and purchase information because it is necessary to provide the service you request. We use limited information for security, fraud prevention, support, and service reliability where this is necessary for our legitimate interests and does not override your rights. We keep records where the law requires us to do so. In the UK and EEA, optional analytics and advertising measurement rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Service providers

We use third-party providers to run the service, including Supabase for database, authentication, and storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for support email delivery, and additional vendors that support site operations or media generation when needed.

When advertising measurement is allowed, we also use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. Meta may receive an allowlisted public page path, advertising click and browser identifiers, browser or device information, and a completed purchase's value and currency. For a consented server-side purchase event, an email address and internal account identifier may be normalized and cryptographically hashed before transmission. We do not send Meta song prompts, lyrics, dedication text, recipient names, uploaded media, audio files, payment-card details, private dashboard URLs, or download and sharing tokens.

Meta may process advertising data outside your country under its own terms and privacy safeguards. You can read the Meta Privacy Policy.

Where a provider processes personal information outside the UK or EEA, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and any required UK addendum.

Payments

Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored directly by Songilingy. We may store limited billing metadata such as customer IDs, checkout session IDs, purchase status, and plan or credit information needed to manage purchases, enforce non-refundable digital unlocks, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Retention and security

Account, generated-song, and delivery information is normally kept while your account remains active so you can return to your songs. We may retain transaction and tax records for the period required by law, and support or security records for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the issue, prevent abuse, or handle a dispute. Consent preferences expire and are renewed periodically. Meta delivery records are designed to have browser identifiers removed after the event is sent, suppressed, or reaches a terminal failure. When a retention purpose ends, information is deleted or de-identified unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we use access controls and other safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access and misuse.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your information, and to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact us to exercise a right; we may need to verify your identity first.

In the UK, EEA, and places where the visitor's region cannot be confirmed, advertising technology and optional traffic analytics stay off until you choose to allow them. In the United States, advertising measurement is available on an opt-out basis. You can change or withdraw a choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. We honor an active Global Privacy Control signal as an advertising opt-out. Essential authentication, payment, security, and download features do not depend on accepting optional tracking.

If you are in the UK and believe we have not handled your information properly, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
